Your baking knowledge can create new revenue streams. I’ll show you how.

The Digital Bakery Model explores how bakers and bakery businesses can turn their recipes, skills and years of hard-earned experience into digital products, online educational resources and scalable income — without relying solely on baking more.

There are only so many hours you can bake.

Whether you bake from home, run a microbakery, teach baking or operate an established retail bakery, traditional bakery income usually depends on something physical happening.

Another order. Another batch. Another class. Another day in the kitchen.

But over time, a baking business builds something else too:

knowledge.

Recipes you’ve perfected. Techniques you’ve mastered. Processes you’ve refined. Questions you’ve answered hundreds of times. Expertise customers, students and other bakers already trust.

The Digital Bakery Model explores how those assets can be packaged into digital products and resources that create value beyond physical production.

What could your baking knowledge become?

Recipe-Based Products

Recipe collections, specialist guides, ebooks and other resources built around proven recipes.

Technique & Skill Resources

Resources that teach a process, method or result you’ve learned to consistently achieve.

Classes & Educational Products

Workshops, recorded training, mini-courses and structured educational experiences delivered online.

Tools, Templates & Resources

Practical resources that help customers or other bakers solve a specific problem faster.

Two ways to work with the Digital Bakery Model

Turn what you already know into something you can sell.

If you’re an experienced home baker, microbakery owner, baking educator or creator, I’ll help you recognise the opportunities already hiding in your recipes, skills and audience and take a simpler route from idea to digital product.

Turn bakery expertise into new commercial opportunities.

I work with retail bakeries, baking schools, associations, communities and industry media in different ways — from masterclasses and educational content to exploring how bakery knowledge could become digital products and revenue streams.

Why I created The Digital Bakery Model

I’m Dawn-Marie Nesbitt, a marketer specialising in turning expertise into commercially useful products, content and education.

I created The Digital Bakery Model after recognising a recurring problem in the baking industry: talented bakers can spend years building valuable recipes, techniques, audiences and experience while their income remains heavily tied to how much they can physically produce.

Today, I research, write and teach about the opportunities that emerge when baking knowledge itself becomes an asset — working with individual bakers as well as organisations across the baking industry.
